PhD position in experimental flow-behavior of regolith

A PhD position is available at University Duisburg-Essen in Germany to study the flow-behavior of regolith, how it is influenced by the lunar environment, and how to develop new technologies for use on the Moon. The study is funded by the german aerospace center (DLR) for a duration of 3 years starting in September 2023. We are seeking candidates who have at least a 4 year degree in physics (or related subjects), are experienced in conducting experimental work, are fluent in english and willing to participate in low gravity parabolic flights.
