The project is devoted to a theoretical investigation of long-wave oscillatory patterns. It includes: (i) development of mathematical and computational tools for studying interfacial patterns under the action of spatio-temporal parameter modulation; (ii) elucidation of basic factors which determine the development of interfacial instabilities under different kinds of “open-loop” and “closed-loop” controlling. The problem will be studied analytically and numerically.
